On April 1st, at Moscrop Secondary School, we organized an event for students in the after-school club called “Universal Friendship Club.” There were 16 students from G8 to G11 participated in this event. This event was designed to help new immigrant students experience the fun of Easter. The event included an egg hunt where we hid Easter eggs in the classroom for students to find. After collecting the eggs, students opened them to find simple and fun questions inside, like “Clap your hands three times, spin around four times, and jump twice” or easy math and geography questions. If they answered correctly, they could draw a prize and receive some chocolate. The questions were easy and accessible, making the activity enjoyable for everyone.
