Nowruz Celebration 2026 in Alpha Secondary School
Students volunteers decorated a Nowruz table near the main office, which was displayed for the entire week. On Wednesday, March 11th, during lunch, Persian tea and baklava were distributed to the whole school community.
On Friday March 13th after school, SWIS held a Nowruz party in the school library. Students and school staff members attended and enjoyed delicious food, dancing to cultural Nowruz music, taking photos, and having a lot of fun.
The students were very proud to represent their culture, and the celebrations also helped lift their spirits given the circumstances the region is currently going through.
