The SWIS workers at Chaffey-Burke, Leila and Claire, organized a Lunar New Year Potluck on Fri, Feb 1st in the school.
There were 20 immigrant parents participating in this event to celebrate together this Holiday and learn more about the traditions! All parents not only enjoined the diverse food, had lots of fun with the unique activities – Chinese origami and calligraphy, but also were very appreciative of being able to celebrate this festive holiday together in their new home country.
