Burnaby’s Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) Program invites parents & students to join an outdoor, educational guided tour at Burnaby Lake Regional Park.

You will:
•learn about beavers and the animals that share their home
•explore trails and a lake right in your neighbourhood
•enjoy nature

Date: Friday, November 24th, 2017 (Pro D-Day, No school)

When & Where to meet: 9:00 am Metrotown bus loop, Bay #5, Bus #110 Lougheed Station. Please be on time.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the park from 12-1 if the weather allows
Leave the park at 1pm after lunch

The SWIS program is thankful to Metro Vancouver Regional Parks for providing Park Interpreters for this guided tour.

Bring your own food and drink.
Dress weather appropriately (rain coat, rain boots, warm clothes, etc..) and wear good walking shoes.

The tour is on, RAIN or SHINE.

A limited supply of bus tickets are available. Permanent residents in need will be given a priority.
